Breakfast at Granny T's house.

Ladybug has an opinion about everything!!

MoRo enjoying chocolate covered strawberries.

Dabby Do's strawberries are GONE!!

Dragonfly got a little oatmeal in her hair!

Getting her hair washed at the sink. A clean Dragonfly!

Dabby Do and Lady Bug on the way to get MoRo. She had to go to Pre-K for class pictures Friday morning.
On Thursday night the "A" team were the only two spending the night.

They enjoyed a book before heading upstairs to bed. They talked and giggled FOREVER before finally going to sleep.

It's been a Grandmother's dream come true.

The girls are all here....down to see the newest addition to the family.
Enjoy the pictures...we've had so much fun together.

Seven Granddaughters

G.O.

Wow, I'm having to look close to tell who is who!!

Granddaughter G.O. on Friday Evening

Isn't she beautiful!!
Look at the little pinkish bandage covering her right hand where the IV is.

I had a chance to see little G.O. again on Friday evening. She had just finished eating and was snuggled down with a cute cap on her head and a tiny crocheted blanket across her regular receiving blankets. She was wrapped up tight except her little hands were peaking out. I know it will be wonderful to have the IV removed from her tiny little hand.

I got a couple of new pictures. Today hopefully she will be back in the room with her Mommy and Daddy and maybe I'll actually get to hold her. :)

Enjoy!

Newest Granddaughter Pictures!!

G.O. is finally here! She weighed in at 5lb. 8oz. and is 17 inches long.
Almost exactly what her Daddy weighed. He was 5lb. 9oz. and was 18 inches long. I just can't remember him being that tiny.
Here's how tiny her foot is in her Daddy's hand.
Daddy with his hand on her head. They had her wrapped up in two blankets with heat lamps. She was toasty warm.

Just precious!

Sleeping peacefully....it's hard to believe it when they say she's got quite a set of lungs.
I'm finally getting to see her. She wasn't too impressed and slept away through the whole visit.

Tonight I got to meet my newest granddaughter.
I had to scrub up first and put on a gown. Her daddy showed me how to do everything.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures....She is absolutely beautiful.
I've got to say what my sweet Mother said each time she got to see one of the granddaughters for the first time, "This one is the cutest one yet."

We're very thankful for her safe arrival and that she and her Mother are doing so well.

It's Christmas!!

Our official Christmas picture with the Grands. Trust me, this was the best shot!!!

This is actually very controlled pan-da-leer-ium. Eight kids taking turns opening presents.

B-10 and CW checking out a gift from their cousins.

There was never a lack of cameras catching loads of memories.

Our favorite Marine....he ran out to the car to get his daughter's Biddy Babies because they got new outfits for them and couldn't wait to try them on .....sure looks like they needed some clothes!

Note the little hand reaching for her doll.

Last night we celebrated Christmas with our sons and their families. Our oldest son and his wife hosted the event. It was the first time in a long time that we have all have an opportunity to be together. Here are a few pictures to show a little of the wonderful time we had. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!!

A Visit to the Park

We're getting ready today to head back south to home. It's been good to spend some time with our son and his family. We worshiped with them at their Church on Sunday. We've played games and enjoyed being with the children and their Mom. Buddy took care of some business a little further north yesterday.
The weather hasn't been great but we were able to get out a little late yesterday afternoon. I made these pictures of Butterfly, Dragonfly and Ladybug when I took them to the neighbor park. Princess Flower was enjoying some computer time and didn't want to join us.

Graduation and Commissioning at Quantico

Graduation ceremony....front row, second from right.

After graduation we went into a building to get out of the cold and warm up. Look who we ran into!!

He's getting ready to change clothes for the commissioning ceremony.

Why is my mouth ALWAYS open??

Dragonfly slept through the commissioning.

A proud wife pinning on the Lieutenant bars.
A family happy to be together again!

The silver dollar tradition calls to be given to the person who gives him his first salute.

Receiving the first salute.

The Marine Museum outside the base at Quantico.

It's been a long time since I've had a chance to blog anything....not that I didn't have anything to say but getting ready for Christmas has taken first place lately.

Today though, we experienced a special family time that I just couldn't wait to post some of the pictures.

Enjoy our son's special day of accomplishment as he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marines.
